My favourite times

Travel is a luxury that requires money and sometimes alot of it. I love to travel, to visit new places and discover gems that I never seen before but I as most people don’t have unlimited resorces. Travel or taking a trip doesn’t have to be overly expensive.

I live in Europe and have it fairly easy to travel to another country. It’s almost quicker for me to pop down to Germany or the UK than it is for some US citizen to travel to a different state. But to travel and take trips doesn’t necessarily mean to travel to a different country, but to find a special spot in your own. Most of my trips is within the country. I love exploring and discovering my own country and there’s still so much I haven’t seen.

  • I’ve visited the absolute south of Sweden called Skåne, it’s so, so beautiful in the summer and I highly recommend it.
  • I can’t talk enough of Visby, the medieval town on the island of Gotland
  • Öland is an island that lies beside Gotland, it’s basically a summer island and extremely beautiful. It’s also holds the summer residence of the royal family.
  • The swedish north – so, so beautiful all year round. It’s especially amazing in the winter because it contains so many diversities of ski locations. Åre, Sälen, Idre, Ramundbergen is some of the most popular.

Quick get aways in your own country is almost the ultimate trip. I adore them. This basically became a post about Sweden. If you ever plan to visit this country or have questions, never hesitate to ask.

Love, Sara
