We all are familiar with unhappiness, wether it’s s constant feeling in our life or if it makes hasty visit in your life. I’ve felt unhappiness so many times, and the guilt that you feel unhappy because so many people have it so much more worse than you so you feel like a complete shithead for feeling unhappy in your life. Here’s my tips for being more happy in life and how to improve your life. Remember that these are subjective to me, there is no science behind it. Just small things:
- Starting with to never feel guilty about your unhappiness. You can’t compare two different lives. Feeling guilty will lead to more negative feelings and it will create an evil circle. Your feelings aren’t less because how and where you live. You matter!
- Identify what makes you unhappy, is it a person? A way of life? Is it something you can change? Like cutting a person out of your life, it’s one of the hardest thing to do but it might be the only way to feel happy again. Your sanity and happiness is more important than anything in your life.
- What makes you happy? Is it music? Spending time with people you love? Travel? DO IT!! Do what makes you happy.
- The little things. Do the little everyday things that makes you happy, cook your favourite food, watch your favourite tv show, read a book, dance and be silly. Whatever it might be, do the small things in everyday life that makes you happy.
This time of the year makes me happy, the magic of Christmas makes me incredibly happy. I love happiness this season provides, I love the colours of the winter wonderland. Snow makes me happy, christmas makes me happy. The promise of something better makes me happy.
